We recently completed a new project on Terry Lake in Fort Collins. The design for this modern residence integrates architecture and site with a bold linear gesture, bringing a simple yet powerful sense of legibility to the landscape while extending views to the lake and mountains beyond.
The presentation of the new Myrna H. Berger Children and Family Garden master plan took place at the Desert Botanical Garden, coinciding with the Garden's Annual Meeting of Stakeholders featuring guest speaker Richard Louv. We invite you to take a "tour" of the garden spaces or view the live presentation:
Announcing the design of a new Children's Healing Garden for "Voices Carry" Child Advocacy Center in Fort Collins. As a pro-bono effort to support their mission, the new garden will provide features to encourage sensory engagement, imagination, and active play.
Working with architecture firm Lake Flato and early childhood learning consultants and Natural Learning Initiative, Didier Design Studio is leading the masterplan and design of a new Children and Family Garden at the Desert Botanical Garden. Within the garden children of all ages enjoy the experience of interacting with nature through informal and formal play with their parents, caregivers and peers. The garden programs embrace a “learn through play” approach and through participation and interaction with children and adults will gain appreciation for nature.
